Watch before removing

Watch lets you put an object on watch for 30, 60 or 90 days before you remove it. TuneCraft checks it every day and shows what it found, and you decide. It never removes anything by itself.

What you can watch

Watch is on three pages:

  • Fields: a field that May go.
  • Spaces: an idle or empty space.
  • Filters: the filters you pick in the table. Use the toolbar that appears when rows are picked.

Select Watch beside the object and choose 30, 60 or 90 days. You can watch at most 100 objects. An object that is not in TuneCraft's last reading yet is not watched: try again after the next reading.

The Watched list

The Watched list is on the tools home. Each row shows the object, its type, when it has been watched since, and the result of the last check. A result reads Used on a date, or says how many days it has gone unused. Each row shows Last checked, and a warning when two days have passed without a check, for example because the tool's checks are paused.

When the days are up, the object stays in the list for you to decide. Select Stop watching to take it off the list. The list stacks as cards on a phone.

How each result is measured

  • A field is checked from Jira's last-use dates, or from a count of work items updated since the watch began.
  • A space is checked from a count of work items updated since.
  • A filter is checked from the use Jira records. A result says what was measured. For a filter it may read that Jira recorded none, because Jira does not record every kind of use.

Every result is measured from Jira's counts. A count cannot see work items in spaces or security levels that TuneCraft's reader cannot browse. Check in Jira before you remove anything. See Fields, Spaces and Filters and dashboards.
