Licence and trial
TuneCraft will be a paid app with a free trial, sold on the Atlassian Marketplace once it is listed (it is not listed yet). One licence covers every tool. This page says what works in each state.
On this page
How the licence is checked
On every call the server reads the site's licence from Atlassian, never from the browser. TuneCraft fails closed: no licence, an inactive licence or a value it does not know all mean "no licence". The rail shows the state: "Licence: active", "Licence: trial until" a date, or the notice "No active licence".
During a trial
Everything works, with these limits:
- Optimize works on one flow, chosen by the app from your first scan and kept for the site. A licence unlocks every flow. Scan the export first, so the app can choose.
- Filters may change at most 10 objects.
- Labels may make at most 10 changes, each on at most 1,000 work items.
- Undo is never limited, and every report works.
Without a licence
The licensed pages are locked: scanning and the reports. Help, Maintenance, Database size and the Support bundle still work, so an admin can get help and clean up. Undoing a change of Filters or Labels still works. A notice with Open Manage apps tells a Jira admin where to start a trial or buy a licence, in Apps > Manage apps.
Buying
A Jira admin buys or renews the licence in Apps > Manage apps. TuneCraft does not manage users or licences: Atlassian does. When a trial ends without a purchase, the pages above lock, and the data TuneCraft keeps stays until you remove it or uninstall.
